What to expect when you arrive in the United Kingdom.
All arriving passengers must pass through UK Border Force. Have your passport, return ticket, and accommodation details ready.
Many UK airports now use automated e-gates for eligible travellers with biometric passports. Others will be seen by a Border Force officer.
Collect your luggage then proceed through customs. Choose the green channel if you have nothing to declare, red if you do.
