Explore the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, perched atop Castle Rock and home to the Scottish Crown Jewels. Wander through the Royal Mile, visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and discover the medieval Old Town – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Travel north into the Scottish Highlands to search for the legendary Loch Ness Monster and cruise the dark waters of the ancient loch. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Edinburgh
Arrive in Edinburgh and check into your hotel in the heart of the city. Evening orientation walk along the historic Royal Mile from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Welcome dinner at a traditional Scottish restaurant.
Edinburgh Castle & Old Town
Full morning at the magnificent Edinburgh Castle – view the Scottish Crown Jewels, the Stone of Destiny, and the One O'Clock Gun. Afternoon explore the Old Town (UNESCO Heritage Site) – visit St Giles' Cathedral, Greyfriars Kirkyard, and the Scottish National Museum.
Stirling & Loch Lomond
Morning at Stirling Castle – one of Scotland's grandest and most historically significant castles. Afternoon scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Cruise on the loch and admire the Highland scenery.
Glencoe & Fort William
Journey through the dramatic Glencoe valley – one of Scotland's most iconic and atmospheric landscapes. Visit the Glencoe Visitor Centre and learn about the infamous 1692 massacre. Afternoon arrival in Fort William, base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.
Loch Ness & Inverness
Cruise the mysterious waters of Loch Ness – the legendary home of the Loch Ness Monster. Visit Urquhart Castle on the loch's banks. Afternoon in the Highland capital of Inverness – explore the castle, waterfront, and Victorian Market.
Isle of Skye
Full day on the breathtaking Isle of Skye. Visit the Fairy Pools – crystal-clear blue pools at the foot of the Black Cuillins. Explore the dramatic Quiraing landscape and the medieval Dunvegan Castle – the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland.
Return & Departure
Scenic journey south back to Edinburgh via Pitlochry and the stunning Perthshire countryside. Final stop at Scone Palace, ancient coronation site of Scottish kings. Late afternoon transfer to Edinburgh Airport for onward flights. Farewell Scotland!
